The Binga Nongo baskets are traditionally woven by the amazing Tonga people in remote Northern Zimbabwe with llala palm leaves and then naturally dyed with tree bark. Traditionally used for carrying water and storing grain.
Tonga craftswomen use traditional weaving techniques to create these intricately patterned baskets. They supply a sustainable income for their families.
