In local tradition, the protea flower represents change and hope. It is easy to see why it is South Africa's national flower.
These beaded proteas are a miniature version of our larger proteas and are hand made by Wilbert. Wilbert was born in Zimbabwe, his hope for a better life brought him and his family to South Africa. Wilbert uses hundreds of traditional glass Zulu beads to create these floral beauties.
